Ollantaytambo

Then, we will visit Ollantaytambo. The Inca ruins of Ollantaytambo are a great example of the Inca’s impressive engineering and architecture. It is believed that the Incas used the site to store food, shelter the local population, and as a strategic defense post.

Visitors to the site can explore the ruins and learn about the Inca’s impressive engineering and architecture. Also, at Ollantaytambo, visitors can also explore the nearby town of the same name. This town is filled with quaint cobblestone streets, picturesque buildings, and plenty of Incan-influenced architecture. It is a great place to explore and learn about the Inca culture and history.

Pisac, a beautiful Inca temple located in the Sacred Valley of Peru, is an incredible archaeological site that is a must-see for anyone visiting Peru. The temple is located on the top of a hill, surrounded by stunning views of the valley and the Andes Mountains. Pisac’s most impressive feature is its terraces, which are made up of large stone steps that form a spiral around the hill.

These terraces are believed to have been built to create a ceremonial area for the Inca people to worship the sun. The terraces also served as a way to irrigate the crops that grew in the valley below. It is also believed that Pisac was the home of the Inca nobility and was where many important ceremonies and events took place. The site also comprises a number of tombs and burial sites, which are believed to be the tombs of the Inca rulers.

After visiting the ruins, we’ll make our way back to Cusco, where we’ll drop you off at your hotel. This tour of the Sacred Valley is a great way to learn about the history and culture of the Incas and to see some of the most beautiful sites in the Cusco region.
